After a break from adult social care I am now currently seeking a role where my skills and passion can be utilised to the full. I have a keen eye for detail in relation to budgets, documentation and communication. I am passionate about making a difference. I have experience in working closely with various health professionals and stakeholders. I am dedicated, energetic and have a can-do attitude to all aspects of my working life. I have experience in managing all aspects of HR and have a keen interest in quality, policy and regulation. I work tirelessly with colleagues to get the best from them to improve the lives of residents and contribute towards the success of any business I work for.
I hold strong values around honesty, reliability and integrity and carry these with me in any work environment. I have a track record of successfully managing a service, consistently meeting targets related to occupancy, budgets, quality and safety.
January 2005 – December 2017
Service Manager. (Previously Deputy Manager and Senior Support Worker)
The Regard Partnership – Snodland, Kent
I was the Manager of a 9-bedded Supported Living service in Snodland, Kent. I successfully managed the deregistration process from Residential to Supported Living. The service provided 24-hour support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. I left to care for an elderly relative who had a major heart operation.
January 2003 – January 2005
Avenues Trust – Tunbridge Wells
I worked on a site with 4 homes for adults with behaviours that challenged, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. I moved on to gain promotion as a Senior Support Worker with another company.
QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care gained in April 2008
