I am currently employed and the above hours are when I am currently available. It is my intention to leave my employment and provide private support, this will then increase my availability.Overview
I am a calm and quiet person who is confident and professional. I have many years working in the community as a support worker, working mainly with the elderly but also with young people with disabilities.
I am currently working for the Kent Autistic Trust as a specialist support worker in a supported living environment. I was a foster carer for several years, providing care for children with autism and learning difficulties.
I have current first aid and the following qualifications:
Care certificate (97% pass)
Level 2, Understanding the safe handling of medication in health and social care.
Level 2, The Principles of Dementia care
B Tec National Diploma in Business Studies
GCE – Maths, English Language, Needlecraft, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History and Office Studies
I also have training in the following:
